Infusd Nutrition expands US production of water-soluble ingredients

Canada-based Infusd Nutrition has expanded its US production capabilities with a new 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Geneva, New York. The site offers commercial-scale capacity for liquid ingredient production in functional foods, beverages, and dietary supplements. 

The company’s proprietary mechanical processing technology transforms fat-soluble and insoluble ingredients into fully water-soluble, shelf-stable, clean-label liquid and powder formats while improving solubility, stability, bioavailability, and sensory performance.

To demonstrate its technology across commercial applications, Infusd Nutrition has unveiled a portfolio of turnkey product concepts spanning functional beverages, gummies, liquid sachets, wellness shots, ready-to-drink beverages, and hydration stick packs.

This platform enables ingredient formulations that have historically been limited in product development because of poor solubility, instability, unpleasant taste, or processing constraints.

“Over the past several years, we have focused on solving formulation challenges that many companies believed simply couldn’t be solved,” says Jack MacDonald, co-founder of Infusd Nutrition.

“With this significant increase in our large-scale manufacturing capacity, we’re able to help more customers move rapidly from concept development to full-scale production while preserving ingredient integrity and creating products consumers genuinely enjoy.”

Formulating around difficult ingredients

According to Innova Market Insights’ Trends Survey 2026, nearly one-third of global consumers prefer on-the-go supplement formats like liquids. Infusd Nutrition says it can support commercial developments in the category, ranging from specialty nutritional products to multinational launches.

Initially, the company focused on omega-3 applications before expanding its capabilities to hundreds of ingredients spanning nutrition, food, and beverage categories. Shortly after it first launched its solution in 2023, it partnered with flavor house Symrise to advance its proprietary technology.

Infusd Nutrition’s mechanical processing technology to create water-soluble ingredients has successfully been applied to a broad range of ingredients, including omega-3 fatty acids, fat-soluble vitamins, botanical extracts, adaptogens, mushrooms, phospholipids, minerals, cognitive health ingredients, curcumin, creatine, and various specialty bioactives.

According to the company, this scope opens new formulation opportunities across energy, cognition, sleep, hydration, sports nutrition, metabolic health, and healthy aging applications.

Showcasing product examples

The company has developed a portfolio of product concepts as turnkey solutions to demonstrate how difficult-to-formulate ingredients can be successfully integrated within trend-driven formats.

Portfolio products include a Clean Energy Sachet combining lion’s mane, cordyceps, citicoline, L-theanine, natural caffeine, vitamin D3, and B vitamins.

Addressing consumer demand for jitter-free energy, a Calm & Clean Energy ready-to-drink beverage developed with Symrise blends adaptogens, mushrooms, nootropics, and natural caffeine with long-term stability and excellent sensory characteristics.

Integrated capabilities

The new facility houses integrated quality control, testing, packing, and logistics capabilities and is supported by additional manufacturing partners for powder production and future global expansion.

According to Infusd Nutrition, all products manufactured at its Geneva site are produced under Safe Quality Food certified quality systems, with US Department of Agriculture organic, kosher, halal, and National Sanitation Foundation certified for Sport manufacturing available.
