GTC Nutrition Opens North American scFOS Manufacturing Channel
In response to increasing consumer demands for healthier food, beverage and supplement alternatives, the new channel will produce both NutraFlora and FortiFeed scFOS prebiotic fibers for human and animal feed consumption, respectively.
26/07/06 GTC Nutrition, a business unit of Corn Products International, Inc. has celebrated the grand opening of its short-chain fructooligosaccharides (scFOS) manufacturing channel – claimed to the first of its kind in North America – at the London, Ontario, Canada plant of Corn Products’ Casco Inc. subsidiary. At the ceremony, customers joined with elected officials and company representatives to hear presentations and tour the new channel.
