Fenchem Seeking AIB Approval for Inulin Product
Fenchem In-fibre inulin has recently obtained organic certification, which meets both the standards of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Organic Program (NOP) and EC.
AIB International's audit involves an evaluation of the company’s food safety and hygiene programme, the manpower required to make it effective, cleaning schedules, methods and training of hygiene operatives and management's involvement in food safety. Fenchem expects to achieve the ‘superior rating’ from AIB.

Fenchem will present a seminar, “In-fibre Organic Inulin--- Drive Inside Safety” at the upcoming FIA event, 23-25 June 2009, in Shanghai, China.
In-Fibre Inulin is polymer derived from Jerusalem artichoke (Helianthus tuberosus Linn.). As a prebiotic, it is best known for gut health and immunity benefits and has also been linked to weight loss. Inulin is an ideal ingredient for applications in dairy, bakery, beverages and cereals.
