Expressions Aromatiques Increases Production Capacity
07 Oct 2014 --- Expressions Aromatiques, flavours specialist nestled in the Grasse region, recently completed the extension of its premises, in order to significantly increase its production capacity while maintaining a strong responsiveness and a very high level of service.
An extension of 3000 m² - An overall investment of 6M € permitted the construction of a brand new building boosting the production capacity. This new building includes new production workshops, an additional warehouse, a high capacity cold room as well as supplementary offices. Moreover the entire R&D laboratories have been extended and renovated.
An appropriate environment – Along with the extension of the facilities, the company improved the air processing system of the production workshops and the laboratories in order to safeguard the technical operatives and ensure a neutral olfactory atmosphere. Likewise, the company built up a new cold room with a deodorized air impulse and an extraction system, preventing olfactory contamination during flavours storage (raw materials, semi-finished and finished products). Hence, Expression Aromatiques creates an appropriate environment, safekeeping the operatives and ensuring the highest products quality.
Responsiveness and traceability – concerning the manufacturing equipment, the company acquired a Roxane K robot, able to process up to 600 raw materials. This weighing robot, completely automated, is mostly used for samples and concentrated aromatic bases. This new modular equipment enables the production of several formulations at the same time, hence increasing the productivity. The Roxane robot acquisition, combined with an electronic scanning device for raw materials, ensures a complete products traceability, thus meeting one of the requirements of the ISO 22 000: 2005 international standard dealing with food safety. This latter is currently implemented at Expressions Aromatiques.
