Eugene Science Announces CholZero(TM) Seaweed Gains National Retail Market Launch in Korea
Eugene Science's recent innovation CholZero™ , consists of CZ™ (a food additive comprised largely of phytosterols) and targets consumers of age 30 and higher who have general concerns about cholesterol problems and geriatric diseases.
LOS ANGELES, CA -- Eugene Science, Inc., (OTC BB: EUSI) a developer and marketer of advanced nutraceutical products, today announced that Yongjinnara Co., a leading South Korean seaweed company, is launching a national marketing campaign for its cholesterol-lowering premium seaweed featuring Eugene Science's CholZero™ active ingredient.
Founded in 1982, Yongjinnara Co., Ltd. is a leading Korean manufacturer and distributor of premium seaweed products sold throughout Korea and exported to Japan and Southeast Asia. Eugene Science supplies its CholZero™ cholesterol-lowering cooking oil to Yongjinnara, which then incorporates it into its CholZero™ Seaweed product. This CholZero™ Seaweed has been sold exclusively at Korean airport duty-free shops for three years.
With CholZero™ Seaweed's popularity and sales growing, Yongjinnara is now launching a marketing campaign to support nationwide retail and wholesale distribution. Eugene Science will sell Yongjinnara additional CholZero™ oil to enable it to supply CholZero™ Seaweed to retailers including Korea's largest organic food franchise, Chorawkmaeul, which sells over 820 locally produced organic foods at more than 200 retail stores nationwide. With a population of 48 million people, South Korea offers a solid economy and sophisticated consumer marketplace.

Yongjinnara licenses the CholZero™ trade name from Eugene Science for its seaweed product.
