Enzymotec Expands its Activity to the Japanese Market
Itochu Chemical Frontier focuses on Life & Healthcare Field and supplies functional food ingredients as well as pharmaceutical ingredients to major food and pharmaceutical companies in Japan.
05/11/07 Enzymotec and Itochu Chemical Frontier (ICF), a subsidiary of the giant Japanese trading company Itochu, will collaborate in marketing of Enzymotec' products in the Japanese market. This collaboration will be announced at the upcoming Health Ingredient (HI) Japan tradeshow that is going to take place in Tokyo, on November 20th - 22nd, 2007.
Very recently, Enzymotec proprietary products Sharp-PS GOLD and CardiaBeat were approved by the Japanese Health Authority, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW), to be used in food. “We accomplished an important milestone in our marketing strategy in Japan, and we expect that the sales of these products will commence during the first quarter of 2008" said Dr. Ariel Katz, Enzymotec' CEO. "We are very excited from the cooperation with Itochu and looking forward for the new product prototypes exhibition at the HI", concludes Dr. Katz.
