DSM Nutritional Products Ltd Branch Pentapharm Launches REGU-CEA
DSM has developed this unique complex of highly active ingredients to help fighting skin redness and visible blood vessels – two of the symptoms of rosacea.
22/04/09 A lot of the world is affected by rosacea. People of Celtic ancestry especially suffer from blushing or redness of the face, or even erythema and telangiectasia. Environmental factors like UV radiation and temperature fluctuations can act as triggers; they irritate the skin and set off a cascade of events that ultimately damage blood vessels and skin structures.
But now there is relief in the form of REGU-CEA. DSM has developed this unique complex of highly active ingredients to help fighting skin redness and visible blood vessels – two of the symptoms of rosacea.
REGU-CEA works on multiple levels. It helps to prevent vasodilation and to inhibit inflammation and the release of proteases. It also relieves skin irritation and prevents damage to skin structures, leading to healthy, smooth skin.
REGU-CEA is suitable for a broad range of cosmetic applications, from day and night creams for red skin to intensive treatment therapies for rosacea. It produces excellent results when incorporated into sensitive skin serums and make-up primer, as well as after-sun products and body cream for itchy, flaky skin for smoothness to the touch.
REGU-CEA is available as a smooth wax with a melting range of 30 to 35 C. It can be added to the oil phase of a formulation at a temperature of 70 C or, alternatively, at the end of the formulation process. REGU-CEA is free of PEG, preservatives and silicone. Guide formulations are available upon request.
