24/03/05 An Italian scientist who has studied the effects of chocolate on the human heart, says that chocolate may also contain anti-aging agents.
A study from the Università degli Studi dell’Aquila, into the consumption of dark chocolate suggests that it has a positive impact on blood pressure and diabetes and also has an anti-aging-effect. The study was published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
The scientists observed that the consumption of dark chocolate minimized insulin resistance and increased insulin sensibility.
