ChemPoint Expands Strategic Relationship with Stepan Lipid Nutrition in Europe
09 May 2017 --- ChemPoint EMEA, B.V., (ChemPoint), a subsidiary of Univar Inc. and a leader in the marketing, sales, and distribution of specialty and fine ingredients, has expanded its strategic marketing relationship with the Stepan Lipid Nutrition unit of Stepan Company for the food, beverage and dietary supplement markets.
Effective as of May 1, 2017, ChemPoint will provide marketing, sales, order fulfillment and formulation support for Stepan’s patented specialty nutritional products to customers in the Benelux, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Nordics and Eastern Europe.
ChemPoint has already successfully partnered with Stepan Lipid Nutrition in the United States, offering Stepan’s full range of specialty nutritional products in the North American market.

What can we expect to see in terms of development off the back of this? “Driving increased (online) marketing, sales support and new developments in the identified target markets for Stepan’s product portfolio of branded specialty ingredients in the United States and Europe,” Schmeits explains.
When asked about specific nutrition areas in which the companies' are looking to address, he said: “Stepan's products improve nutritional health in various markets including sports nutrition, weight management, brain health, clinical and infant nutrition.”
