Rooibos tea is brewed from the leaves of the South African rooibos (pronounced "roy-bus") shrub, and is also called "red tea" or "red bush tea," as translated from the Afrikaans language. This naturally caffeine free, antioxidant-rich plant is found and sustainably cultivated only in South Africa's Cedarburg Mountains.
