Taiwan’s Welbloom Bio-Tech introduces ergothioneine innovations and “industry-first” patented jelly technology
Welbloom Bio-Tech, a Taiwanese contract development and manufacturing organization specializing in dietary supplements, teases its upcoming exhibit at the Natural Products Expo West, from March 5–7 in Anaheim, California, US. The company will unveil two ergothioneine product innovations — Wel-EGT and Wel-Revive — addressing the evolving health and wellness trends.
Ergothioneine, a sulfur-containing derivative of the amino acid histidine, is derived exclusively from the diet. According to the company, it has gained significant global attention as a key ingredient in dietary supplements.
Additionally, Welbloom reveals that the global ergothioneine supplement market is projected to reach US$34.3 billion in 2024 and grow to US$47.2 billion by 2028, highlighting “vast consumer demand and market potential.”
Proprietary mushroom exomes extraction
The company’s flagship product, Wel-EGT, leverages a proprietary mushroom exosomes extraction technology and is enriched with amino acids, providing “rapid nutrient absorption” and boasting a 92% free radical scavenging rate per milliliter.
In response to the aging population trend, Welbloom Bio-Tech will also unveil Wel-Revive, an anti-aging supplement formulated with turmeric, onion, and strawberry extracts. The company says the compound formula is designed to combat oxidative stress and cellular aging, delivering “noticeable results within four weeks of use.”
While showcasing these products, Welbloom spotlights its proprietary Fresh-Jelly technology, an “industry-first” patented delivery format.
The company also states that its new Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Silver-certified facility emphasizes the use of local ingredients and eco-friendly packaging while achieving carbon reduction goals, and demonstrates its commitment to sustainability.
