Activ’Inside to Launch New Memory Solution
20 Apr 2016

20 Apr 2016 --- Activ’Inside will be launching its new synergistic bioavailable solution, Memophenol, for memory improvement next month.
Memophenol is a French proprietary patent-pending solution carefully designed to improve cognitive performances, preventing the onset of memory loss and improving memory operations. It is composed of French grape (Vitis vinifera) and wild blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium) extracts – specific ingredients with scientifically proven beneficial effects on learning and memory impairments.
Memophenol has been clinically demonstrated to enhance cognitive functions by improving learning, working memory and long-term memory performances.
It was evaluated in a large scale bi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled clinical study. The trial was performed for 6 months on more than 200 people, based on CANTAB tests from Cambridge Cognition (Verbal Recall Memory test and Paired Associated Learning test).
Memophenol was shown to:
• Reduces short-term memory loss: The Memophenol group forgot 2.5x fewer words than the placebo group.
• Improves long-term memory performances: People taking Memophenol made 2x fewer memory errors after 6 months of supplementation.
• Reverses up to 10 years of brain aging: The Memophenol group showed a score corresponding to cognitive age of 50 to 59 years, whereas placebo one kept a mean score equivalent to people between 60 to 69 years old.

Memophenol is the fruit of a 4-year international research program (the Neurophenols Consortium). It development is based on a large scientific support with strong literature, preclinical studies and a bicenter clinical study.
The Memophenol effects result both from a high demonstrated bioavailability of the solution, as actives molecules have been found in animal brain, and from a synergistic action as Memophenol increases the absorption of raw materials metabolites by 5-fold, versus individual extracts.
The solution revealed complementary mechanisms of actions on brain plasticity, neurogenesis, brain microcirculation and oxidative balance.
Memophenol development is scientifically supported by two new scientific articles written by Bensalem et al., on the beneficial effects of berry polyphenols on cognitive impairment.

It is recommended that 300 mg Memophenol be taken once to twice a day, by oral administration. The solution is designed for everyone, from teenagers to seniors, who want to improve their learning and memory performances or prevent the onset of age-related cognitive decline.
Memophenol will be launched at Vitafoods Europe 2016 (Geneva, 10-12 May 2016).
