A cup of CBD tea? mood33 launches hemp-infused herbal tea range
03 Dec 2019 --- US-based beverage brand mood33 has launched a line of hemp-infused herbal teas that contain organic, US-grown, full-spectrum hemp extract, premium botanicals and real fruit juices. The company markets the range as “mindfully sweetened to create six bliss-inducing flavors,” bringing consumers the beneficial effects of the hemp plant in an herbal iced tea drink format. Each bottle of mood33 provides 33 mg of full-spectrum hemp to support the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). The launch comes as CBD-infused beverages are enjoying increased NPD with several brands tapping into the trend.
mood33 is dedicated to revitalizing hemp as an important new agricultural system, powered by ethical and sustainably sourced Evo Hemp. “We have created the first ready-to-drink (RTD) tea beverage to offer consumers a US-based hemp supply chain that helps Native American farmers and their families build a better economy by growing organic hemp,” explains Co-Founder Eric Schnell.
The six “mood-specific” flavors offer a unique blend of herbs and botanicals designed to work synergistically to deliver different mood-based “states,” the company says. This is a result of mood33’s fast-absorbing nano-emulsion technology.

In addition to being vegan and non-GMO, mood33’s hemp teas are non-intoxicating and free of preservatives, artificial sweeteners and colors. The convenient, resealable aluminum bottle also allows consumers to drink whatever amount they prefer and “chill” the rest for later.
The company was an early advocate in California’s cannabis-infused beverage space, according to Michael Christopher, Co-Founder of mood33.

The brand will be available in the US starting in January 2020.
