2021 vision: Unibar’s capsanthin for eye health featured in Health Thru Nutrition’s supplement
01 Feb 2021 --- Plant-based life science company Unibar Corporation has partnered with Health Thru Nutrition to release a new supplement, which contains Unibar’s CapsiClear, the first capsanthin ingredient for eye health formulation.

A potent carotenoid
CapsiClear is a patent-pending combination of carotenoids standardized to 50 percent capsanthin. It is a potent carotenoid sourced from chili peppers, to provide a holistic eye health solution beyond what many other eye health ingredients can do.
The product’s composition further includes zeaxanthin and cryptoxanthin for a powerful biological effect. The supplement also has good stability due to vegetarian flaxseed oil in the place of gelatin.
CapsiClear is a patent-pending combination of carotenoids standardized to 50 percent capsanthin.It is also aided by enhanced bioavailability via its oil base, which enhances absorption of fat-soluble capsanthin. In addition, its ingredients are all traceable thanks to vertical integration processes.
CapsiClear supports vision health and performance by helping to increase macular pigment optical density, protect the eyes from the effects of blue and white light, improve photostress recovery for decreased eye strain and reduce intraocular pressure (IOP).
Maintaining IOP at proper levels is vital for long-term vision health, decreasing potential risks of multiple eye conditions and permanent eye damage.

The supplement is to be taken daily and comes with a month’s supply of 40 mg soft gels. CapsiClear is manufactured according to ISO, cGMP, hazard analysis and critical control points (HAACP), and pharmaceuticals and medical devices agency (PMDA) requirements and holds self-affirmed generally recognized as safe (GRAS) status.
The product is free of all major allergies and is non-GMO, gluten-free and soy-free.
