Psychedelics and the future of mental health: Will mushrooms go mainstream?
As more and more consumers are actively seeking support to improve their mental and emotional well-being, many – including researchers and scientists – are touting the ability of psychedelics to offer transformative and healing experiences. Much research has been done on the effect of psychedelics on people suffering from severe ailments such as PTSD, anxiety, depression and addiction. There have been several recent movements, some of them successful, to legalize natural psychedelics for public use and move the so-called magic mushroom into the mainstream.
