Nuritas describes itself as a disruptive startup using AI to look into the fields of preventative medicine and functional food. “We use DNA analysis and artificial intelligence (AI) to data mine foods – everyday, normal, sustainable foods that are eaten throughout the world – for bioactive peptides, the specific molecules that are of interest to us and have these tremendous health benefits,” says Neil Foster. Nuritas senses AI coming to the forefront in a number of different areas: marketing of food products, consumer segmentation, recommendations of delivery models and more. However, it considers itself at the forefront of looking into food in this way.
