BioCell Technology ("BioCell"), founded in 1997, is in the business of researching, developing, and distributing novel science-based ingredients. The company does not sell finished consumer products but rather licenses its branded ingredients to consumer-packaged goods companies for use in their finished products. We believe that licensing is the best way to ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of the innovative finished products that contain our branded ingredients in the market.

23 Mar 2021 --- Branded ingredients, particularly clinically proven ones like BioCell Collagen®, offer tremendous value from the entire supply chain to the consumer. CPG brands that use the BioCell Collagen ingredient in their finished consumer products can substantiate specific structure-function claims based on clinical data that they ordinarily would not be able to make otherwise with regulatory compliance. Under a licensing model, branded ingredient companies work closely with CPG brands to bring added value. The partnership allows them to leverage BioCell’s research and development, intellectual property, and cooperative marketing activities. It creates a win-win scenario for the entire supply chain to the consumer, who we ultimately want to keep happy.
