Wellness booster: ResBiotic unveils caffeine-free microbiome enhancing formula

09 Jan 2024 --- Microbiome supplement producer ResBiotic Nutrition launched prebeet Energy+, its caffeine-free powder formula, to improve digestion, enhance the skin’s appearance and strengthen heart health. The berry-flavored formula can be mixed with cold water, a smoothie and yogurt.

Prebiotic potato punch
The prebiotic formula consists mainly of resistant potato starch, explicitly selected to increase the production of Bifidobacterium and elevate Akkermansia muciniphila levels, an essential bacterium for improving gut-barrier function and permeability of the gut lining. The clinically studied prebiotic-resistant potato starch promotes the growth of important probiotics.

The restorative ingredients are void of the unpleasant side effects of caffeine, such as jitters or poor digestion from artificial additives, while the infusion of beets enhances circulation. The sugar-free formula also contains a high dose of vitamin B12 to sustain brain cell function and convert food into cellular energy.

ResBiotic presented preclinical data from a study of its herbal supplement for lung health and rest Lung Support in 2022.

Supplementation with the probiotic and herbal blend for four weeks increased the volume asthmatic patients could exhale in a one-second forced breath by 8.4%. The authors suggest this is due to increased short-chain fatty acids in the clinical trial participants.
