According to a new research, vitamin E could significantly reduce the impact and duration of period pain.
13/04/05 Research suggests that consumption of vitamin E could significantly reduce the impact and duration of period pain.
The research was conducted by a team from Tarbait Modarres University in Iran and has been published in the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The condition, also known as Dysmenorrhoea, usually has more impact on teenage girls.
The research revealed that girls who consumed vitamin E reported the greatest decrease in the intensity of pain, which they felt.
