Vitafoods Europe 2024: dsm-firmenich to launch “breakthrough” solution for gut health
20 Mar 2024 --- Health and nutrition innovator dsm-firmenich is preparing to debut a “breakthrough” product for the gut health market — Humiome B2, powered by patented Microbiome Targeted Technology — at Vitafoods Europe 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland (May 14-16).
At the show, visitors can also explore the company’s advanced dietary supplement solutions — life’s Omega and ampli-D — and taste-test a novel food fortification format for medical nutrition developments.
According to the recently merged company, the human microbiome holds incredible potential for health, but its full benefits remain largely untapped.

Dr. Robert E. Steinert, principal scientist at dsm-firmenich and expert in the field, will host a session on the “groundbreaking science” behind this solution at the Probiotics Theatre on May 14 (11.30-11.55 CET).
The company will also spotlight its clinically documented, IP-protected Humiome Pro- and Postbiotics solutions for biotic innovation. Shaped by distinctive clinical credentials, the formulations combine unique bacterial strains to inspire purpose-led solutions, addressing concerns linked to digestion and immunity.
