12/05/05 Coca-Cola North America has announced that its newest addition to the Diet Coke family, Diet Coke sweetened with SPLENDA Brand Sweetener, will be available at retail across the U.S. by May 16.
With consumption of diet soft drinks on the rise, Diet Coke sweetened with SPLENDA Brand Sweetener offers those who prefer Splenda a refreshing new diet cola option.
Diet Coke sweetened with SPLENDA Brand Sweetener is the seventh Diet Coke line extension, which includes the flagship Diet Coke, Caffeine Free Diet Coke, Diet Coke with Lime, Diet Coke with Lemon, Diet Cherry Coke and Diet Vanilla Coke.
Diet Coke sweetened with SPLENDA Brand Sweetener will feature a blend of Splenda and acesulfame potassium (ace-k) for optimal taste. It will be available in a range of package sizes, including 20-ounce, 1-liter, 2-liter, 12-ounce cans/multipacks.
The launch of Diet Coke sweetened with SPLENDA Brand Sweetener follows the successful roll out one year ago of Diet Coke with Lime, which has become the No. 1 flavored diet cola in America. The launch continues a year of innovation for The Coca-Cola Company which will include a range of offerings across all beverage categories.
