23/04/09 Rochem International have been assigned the exclusive distribution rights in the USA and Canada for Taurine produced by Hubei Shayang Tianyi Medicine Co. Ltd. Tianyi has the capability to produce as much as 16, 000 metric tons of Taurine per year and runs a new State-of-the-Art production facility. Their material has both Kosher and Halal certification.
Taurine has developed into a Key Ingredient in the fast growing Energy Drink market, as well as in Weight Loss products and Pet Foods. Shayang Tianyi will now be one of the largest producers of Taurine in the world and will position Rochem as one of the key suppliers for this item in the Americas.
