Rebalance Health taps into healthy aging through cortisol management system

14 Feb 2022 --- Rebalance Health, developed by former Alastin Skincare founders, is developing a “superceutical” system called the Rebalance System that aims to lower cortisol levels and boost the body’s natural production of vital wellness hormones like testosterone and human growth hormone (HGH).

Directline – also included in the Rebalance System – is a lozenge-based administration approach that boosts the bioavailability of Rebalance superceuticals.

“The Rebalance System supports balanced cortisol levels throughout the day and revitalized sleep at night to dramatically enhance performance, recovery, mental focus and libido in both men and women,” says Justin Hai, president & CEO at Rebalance Health.

Testosterone and HGH supplement industry booms
The move by Rebalance Health comes at a time when the industry estimates that the testosterone and HGH supplement businesses will generate US$4.8 billion in total sales by 2025.

“The brands and products focused on testosterone or HGH supplementation are merely addressing specific symptoms like strength gains or libido enhancement, when in reality, optimizing cortisol levels goes beyond the symptoms and addresses the actual source of our diminishing production of these critical hormones as we age,” explains Scott Glen, chairman at Rebalance Health.

“The other issue is that women are being largely ignored when in reality, maximized production of testosterone and HGH and their impact on strength, recovery and vitality are essential to overall health and performance for females, just as they are for men.”Rebalance Health addresses the biological effects of stress by balancing cortisol levels in men and women to maximize natural testosterone production.

Traditional and natural medicine experts
The Rebalance Health team comprises several experts in various traditional and natural medicine fields. These experts include Dr. Darren Clair, the chief medical officer. Clair has been practicing medicine for over 40 years and was a co-investigator on an FDA-approved investigation of human growth hormone as an anti-aging agent.

Additionally, Dr. Amber Krogsrud, VP of product development, is a naturopathic doctor focusing on women’s hormone health and peptide therapy.

Lastly, Alison Gracom is the VP of clinical research. She is a keynote speaker on the topic of cortisol for Corcept Therapeutics, a leader in the field in discovering drugs that modulate the effects of cortisol. Gracom has been practicing for more than 15 years with a background in endocrinology and functional medicine.

Tracking Alastin Skincare’s previous moves
Previously, Alastin Skincare unveiled three sensitive products: Ultra Calm Cleansing cream, Ultra Light moisturizer with TriHex Technology and SilkSHIELD All-Mineral sunscreen SPF 30 with TriHex technology. The collection is designed with restorative formulas to help treat naturally sensitive or post-cosmetic treatment skin.

Alastin Skincare was also acquired last November by the dermatology company Galderma.
