12 May 2021 --- Kemin Industries’ nutrition and health product for cognitive improvement, Neumentix, has received approval as a bioactive ingredient for use in dietary supplements in Brazil. The Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa) of the Brazilian Ministry of Health published a resolution authorizing Kemin’s cognitive support product for use in dietary supplements as a source of phenolic compounds. “The approval of Neumentix in Brazil means that our ingredient is safe and has high quality. To have one more ingredient approved by Anvisa will increase our revenue and presence into big potential clients,” Rosemeire Shiraishi, sales manager for Latin America at Kemin Human Nutrition and Health, tells NutritionInsight.
