Omega 3 Ingredient Gets Hong Kong Launch

Trappist Dairy (Hong Kong) Limited has launched OMU milk containing the MEG-3 EPA and DHA food ingredient from fish oil. A trademark license agreement has been signed and a major co-branding effort has been launched featuring OMU milk and our consumer branded ingredient, MEG-3.
The MEG-3 brand was designed to tell consumers the food or supplement brand they are purchasing contains the trusted source of fish oil. MEG-3 is featured prominently on OMU milk packaging and throughout their consumer advertising.
For the first time MEG-3 has been digitally animated and is featured in a video commercial playing in UA cinemas across Hong Kong. Ian Lucas, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing with ONC said, “Consumers are developing a positive emotional relationship with the MEG-3 brand through digital animation of our cute little fish, MEG-3. They will also learn that the food they are purchasing has the trusted source of omega-3 from fish oil which will create value for our co-branding partners through our consumer branded ingredient.”
OMU milk is known for its delicious taste and has broad consumer acceptance. The addition of the MEG-3 ingredient means consumers can enjoy their favorite milk beverage while contributing to their dietary needs for EPA and DHA, both physiologically essential nutrients important for heart and brain health as well as normal growth and development.
