Novus International and ESM Technologies Sign Joint Venture

In addition to the Stratum relationship, Arenus, a Novus International business which develops multifunctional health and supplement products for companion animals has global exclusivity for use of NEM in animal supplements.

12/17/2010 --- Thad Simons, President and CEO of Novus International, Inc. and Hollis Osborne, Founder of ESM Technologies, LLC have signed the joint venture agreement to combine efforts in supporting the egg-derived ingredient business developed by ESM.

Previously Stratum Nutrition, a Novus International business which focuses on human nutrition through branded specialty and functional ingredients, and ESM had been working together under a strategic alliance termed a "Technology Partnership". Novus has founded a growing business on NEM, an eggshell membrane ingredient that is consistent with the strategic direction in joint and bone health.

In addition to the Stratum relationship, Arenus, a Novus International business which develops multifunctional health and supplement products for companion animals has global exclusivity for use of NEM in animal supplements.
