Nourish Labs offers free AI cardiometabolic dietary guidance in personalized nutrition platform
Key takeaways
- Nourish Labs provides free cardiometabolic testing integrated with dietitian-led care to make medical data more accessible and affordable.
- Lab results are paired with AI insights and professional guidance to turn complex biomarkers into personalized, actionable nutrition plans.
- The program creates a continuous feedback loop by allowing patients to track how specific lifestyle changes impact their health markers over time.

Backed by a broad dietitian network in the US, metabolic health provider Nourish has launched its Nourish Labs program, which offers patients free cardiometabolic lab testing that integrates directly into ongoing care.
Aside from its standard cardiometabolic testing, the service offers patients seeking additional medical insights the option to add enhanced lab panels at a lower price. National lab partners translate this blood work into a personalized plan patients can “understand, take action, and sustain.”
Users can access scan results through the Nourish app. They can review them with their dietitian alongside AI-provided insights that help translate biomarkers into actionable next steps.
“Too often, labs are either unaffordable or delivered without a clear next step,” says Aidan Dewar, co-founder and CEO of Nourish.

“With Nourish Labs, we’re embedding free testing into ongoing dietitian-led care, supported by AI insights that help patients take action and track progress over time. We’re making lab data actionable and affordable, not just available.”
Closing gaps in guidance
Dietary guidance is increasingly being recognized in medical nutrition, bridging pharmaceutical care with patient-specific dietary interventions. However, Nourish stresses that amid rising rates of obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, most individuals still lack access to the necessary data to drive long-term lifestyle changes.
The company underscores that healthcare practitioners often administer medical results without offering clear direction on dietary steps to take. In April last year, it raised a US$70 million Series B funding round for its patient-specific service. In 2024, it expanded its food as medicine platform, enabling people in the US to order medically tailored meals.
“Nourish Labs does what a standalone blood test can’t: it translates biomarkers into a personalized plan and shows how nutrition and lifestyle changes affect health outcomes over time,” the company states.
Nourish Labs translates biomarkers into a personalized plan and shows how nutrition and lifestyle changes affect health outcomes over time.Nourish offers patients a basic panel that includes key cardiometabolic markers, such as cholesterol, blood sugar (A1C), thyroid-stimulating hormone, and other indicators of metabolic health.
Patients can also add enhanced panels for deeper insight into the markers most relevant to them, such as heart and hormone health.
These supplemental panels are intentionally limited to markers that can directly guide nutrition and lifestyle change, avoiding unnecessary bundles or surprise pricing.
For instance, a patient with elevated A1C, as revealed by labs, can work with a dietitian to make targeted nutrition changes and track improvement over time with regular follow-up labs. Nourish says this creates a consistent, objective feedback loop that engages patients and helps dietitians personalize care effectively.
Personalized nutrition in healthcare
Personalized dietary programs are increasingly viewed as a necessary contributor to overall patient recovery. Studies have revealed such methods can greatly reduce health risks and improve outcomes, moving beyond traditional “one-size-fits-all” advice.
For instance, research has found that tailoring nutrition based on genetic insights can improve pregnancy care and the long-term health of mothers and children.
In the direct-to-consumer field, SurvivorRx markets its personalized nutrition platform toward breast and prostate cancer survivors, offering a range of supplements and resources. The platform offers community support and education developed by a team of oncologists, pharmacists, and naturopaths.
However, scaling personalized wellness insights is challenging for nutrition companies. The CEO of technology platform InsideTracker recently told Nutrition Insight how the company supports businesses in overcoming this hurdle, as its model analyzes users’ DNA, nutrition, and lifestyle data to provide personalized recommendations.
