Each Vitalhealth Vitamin C Candy chew contains 500 mg of Vitamin C and is available in a delicious orange flavor. Vitamin C was popularized by the late Dr. Linus Pauling who believed that taking between 1 and 10 grams of Vitamin C a day could greatly improve health and wellness. Dr. Pauling, in an interview with the "Institute For Optimum Nutrition" argues that taking 3 grams of Vitamin C daily can offer considerable protection from the common cold.
