Himiao boosts cat nutrition innovations with newly acquired technology
Himiao reveals it has acquired technology from the PNB Corporation and unveils BhairCx3 Shine Factor — a bioactive complex designed to enhance fur shine, softness, and resilience while promoting overall feline well-being.
Himiao states that as cat ownership continues to rise, so does the need for advanced feline health solutions. According to the company, a 2025 white paper on China’s pet industry, the number of pet cats in China exceeded 71.53 million in 2024, making up 57.6% of pet-owning households.
Himiao points out that as more households welcome feline companions, owners face common coat issues such as dryness, shedding, and dull fur, often indicating underlying skin health concerns. Addressing these challenges has become a top priority for pet owners seeking optimal coat care solutions.
Science-backed ingredients
Himiao says its BhairCx3 Shine Factor is a scientifically formulated blend of three powerful bioactive ingredients — Centella Asiatica extract, turmeric bioactives, and brewer’s yeast postbiotics.
It states that the Centella Asiatica extract accelerates skin regeneration, reduces inflammation, and supports optimal fur growth. The turmeric bioactives have proven anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that boost follicle microcirculation, reduce shedding, and strengthen coat regeneration.
Finally, Himiao states that the brewer’s yeast postbiotics contain amino acids and B vitamins that support immune resilience and balance the skin microbiome for healthier fur.
Beyond enhancing coat health, it says that BhairCx3 supports cognitive function, reduces anxiety, and strengthens immunity to ensure cats look and feel good.
Advancing pet nutrition
Himiao further reveals that BhairCx3 is free from hormones and irritants and safe for cats with normal or sensitive skin. In addition to coat care, it says that the company and its sub-brand Alskade are exploring broader pet health areas, including gut microbiome balance, urinary tract health, bone development, and weight management.
Through collaborations with universities, animal research institutions, and veterinary scientists, the company says it is developing clinically validated nutritional solutions for feline well-being. Additionally, Himiao says it has proprietary patents in progress, and it intends to introduce advanced pet wellness solutions on a global scale.
