In his new role, Tony will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Fortitech Asia Pacific’s operations. The company’s former General Manager, Mae Ng, will continue to work with the company in a consultant role.
Tony joined Fortitech in 2006 to assume a newly created role of general manager of business development. “Fortitech is tremendously proud of the work Tony Tan has done over the past year,” said Walter Borisenok, president of Fortitech, Inc. “His many talents were directly responsible for the record sales levels achieved by this facility in 2007. We have the utmost confidence that his energy and drive to succeed will enable us to surpass those sales levels and lead us toward solid premix growth within this ever expanding marketplace.”
Tony’s career has brought him to many global locations, not just limited to the Asia Pacific rim, managing operations of varying scales and requiring diverse business/economic skills. Scheduled to be completed in 2009, the 60,000 sq. ft facility is a major investment that will help satisfy custom nutrient premix demands globally and will position Fortitech Asia Pacific to better serve rapidly growing markets such as China, Australia and ASEAN regions. Fortitech Asia Pacific is one of Fortitech, Inc’s fastest growing global affiliates.
Tony graduated with an honors Bachelor of Science degree in education from the Universiti Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and further completed his post graduate studies with a Master of Business Administration degree from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University in Scotland.
