CreAgri Launches HIDROX as Company Continues to Expand
The new particulate-free formula, HIDROX 12%, is the latest addition to CreAgri's lines of natural, organic olive polyphenolic ingredients.

Jul 20 2010 --- CreAgri, Inc., a world leader in providing the highest quality polyphenol antioxidants from organic olives, announced that a new hydroxytyrosol formulation was introduced along with the company's expanded, highly credentialed executive team at the Institute of Food Technologists' Annual Meeting & Food Expo in Chicago, July 17-20, 2010. The new particulate-free formula, HIDROX 12%, is the latest addition to CreAgri's lines of natural, organic olive polyphenolic ingredients, which also include: HIDROX Liquid (0.5%), HIDROX Spray Dry 2%, and HIDROX 6% freeze dry.
HIDROX is the proprietary ingredient developed using CreAgri's Integrale de-pitting process. "HIDROX formulations remain the only hydroxytyrosol-based products on the market which are GRAS certified, produced without the use of solvents, and that have been tested in several human trials for safety and efficacy. We have continued to expand our highly qualified executive team to help bring these benefits of HIDROX to additional industries and are proud to introduce them at this year's IFT," said Dr. Roberto Crea, CEO and President.

Dr. Roberto Crea, Founder, President and Chief Scientist of CreAgri, Inc., is considered a pioneer in the field of biotechnology. Dr. Crea received his Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of Pavia, Italy. Dr. Crea is the author of more than 25 international patents and has co-authored numerous scientific articles.
Dr. Catherine Bitler, CSO and V.P. Operations oversees operations and manages the research and development departments at CreAgri. Dr. Bitler holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from UCLA and has many years of research and business development experience in biotechnology and natural products chemistry.
Mark P. Linder, Business Developer and Strategic Partnerships, is director of strategic partnerships for CreAgri, focusing the company's HIDROX for human and animal application. Linder holds a B.S. degree from Iowa State University in Agricultural Business Management and is a graduate of the California Agricultural Leadership Program. During his 23-year career with the California Farm Bureau, Linder co-founded two nationally recognized education programs, Agriculture in the Classroom and Project Food, Land & People. In 2003, Linder became a program consultant and U.S. Agriculture Liaison to the Culinary Institute of America.
Paolo Pontoniere, Director of Communications, a journalist for more than 30 years and an expert in business and macroeconomics, Pontoniere has served as executive editor, special envoy, and foreign correspondent for various Italian and U.S. media.
