CoffeeFruit Pure debuts namesake antioxidant ingredient

Traditional coffee processing involves separating the skin and pulp from the bean. The skin and pulp are usually discarded, and will begin to rapidly decompose and produce harmful mycotoxins.
“CoffeeFruit Pure has perfected a proprietary process that ‘up-cycles’ the otherwise discarded outer coffee fruit into a potent and wholesome nutritional ingredient,” Heidi Rosenberg, spokesperson for the company, tells NutritionInsight.
The coffee fruit is processed immediately, before decay and fermentation produce harmful mycotoxins that potentially contaminate local land and waterways. CoffeeFruit Pure is processed without the use of harsh chemicals or solvents, allowing the purity, nutritional benefits and antioxidant power to be retained.
Independent testing confirms that the purity and potency of the antioxidants in CoffeeFruit Pure far surpass those in other popular fruit-derived super foods, exceeding particularly in both phenolic and chlorogenic acid content, the company reports.
