Cargill to Showcase Omega 3 Ingredient at Vitafoods
The new Cargill Omega 3 ingredient will be launched in May and will be showcased for the first time at the Vitafoods show. The ingredient promises to be an innovative alternative to existing Omega 3 products in the area of flavor.
04/04/07 Cargill will introduce its new Omega 3 food ingredient at Vitafoods International, May 8-10, 2007, in Geneva, Switzerland. Vitafoods International is one of the largest and most important health ingredients industry events in Europe, attracting participants and attendees representing the nutraceutical, cosmeceutical, and functional foods and drink industries.
The new Cargill Omega 3 ingredient will be launched in May and will be showcased for the first time at the Vitafoods show. The ingredient promises to be an innovative alternative to existing Omega 3 products in the area of flavor. Preliminary development studies show that incorporation of up to 150 mg per serving can be added to products with no discernible change in flavor or shelf life.
