Canomiks unveils free, science-based rating platform for supplements and wellness products

As the dietary supplement and wellness product market continues to boom, Canomiks states that consumers report they are increasingly overwhelmed by marketing hype, conflicting health claims, and unclear product quality standards. Canomiks designed the new platform to address the issue of transparency in the wellness space. How it works

According to the company, each product listed on the site is assigned a WhatToTrust Score from one to 10, with 10 representing the highest level of scientific and regulatory compliance. These scores are determined through an in-depth review of publicly available scientific evidence, including:

• Information from the brand’s website.
• FDA-required testing disclosures (identity, potency, purity).
• Citations from PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov.
• Clinical research supporting each ingredient and overall formulation.

In addition to scoring the full product formulation, WhatToTrust breaks down the data by individual ingredients to assess their scientific validity. Canomiks highlights that products are evaluated independently — with no fees charged to companies for listing — ensuring score impartiality.

Moreover, Canomiks says that if it does conduct third-party testing on a product, this is disclosed clearly in the score breakdown.
