Bravo! Foods introduces Slammers line to Schools
Pro Slammers and Slim Slammers meet school nutritional guidelines.
20/05/05 Bravo! Foods International, a brand development and marketing company that manufactures, promotes and distributes vitamin-fortified, flavored milks, announced the successful introduction of its Slammers branded line of flavored milk drinks to schools in key markets nationwide.
As a result of recent feedback and to accommodate schools' nutritional guidelines that often mandate serving only 1% milk, Bravo is converting its protein enriched Pro Slammers line from 2% to 1% milk. Slim Slammers, Bravo's unique calcium-rich, low-fat and low-carbohydrate drinks, are already well within school nutritional guidelines and have been well-received in both the 14 oz., and soon to be introduced, 8 oz. bottle.
Bravo's new products are being vended through strategic partnerships with distribution and vending brokerage firms, at approximately 46 schools in Florida alone, and one large state university.
As part of Bravo's new nationwide vending and schools program, additional distribution is expected nationally through the Company's Vending and School division and its nationwide brokerage and distribution network. Measurable impact is expected in the school market by the beginning of the '05-06 school year.
Bravo! Foods International Corp. licenses, markets, distributes and sells high-quality, nutritious, flavored milk products throughout the 50 states, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico and nine Middle East countries. The milk is available in the United States and internationally through production agreements with regional milk processors. Bravo!'s products currently are available under the brand name Slammers, and can be purchased in retail outlets throughout the country and in some international markets.
