Marker Therapeutics, a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company, has received notice of a product development research award totaling approximately US$13.1 million from the US-based Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) to support the company’s phase two clinical trial of its lead MultiTAA-specific T cell product MT-401. Marker Therapeutics specializes in developing next-generation T cell-based immunotherapies for the treatment of hematological malignancies and solid tumor indications. The primary objectives of the adjuvant arm of the trial are to evaluate relapse-free survival after MT-401 treatment in patients with acute myeloid leukemia when compared with a randomized control group.
