Ingredients certified by NSF undergo rigorous toxicology review and purity testing to guarantee they are free of contaminants.

02/02/05 Sabinsa Corporation, a manufacturer and supplier herbal extracts, cosmeceuticals, minerals and specialty fine chemicals has received certification from NSF International for several of its ingredients including: Gugulipid 40 mesh 2.5 percent extract; Curcumin C3 Complex; Tribulus terrestris 20 percent extract; Indole-3-Carbinol; and Triphala Extract. Ingredients certified by NSF undergo rigorous toxicology review and purity testing to guarantee they are free of contaminants and Sabinsa's facilities have been audited to ensure adherence to NSF¹s good manufacturing practices standards.
"As the FDA continues to tighten regulations surrounding dietary supplement ingredients, we felt it important to take a proactive stance and work directly with an independent third-party, and in cooperation with our customers, to ensure our ingredients comply to the highest industry safety standards," stated Todd Norton, president, Sabinsa Corporation. "We voluntarily submitted these products for NSF certification and our manufacturers can be assured that they are free of any impurities and contaminants that may be potentially harmful to consumers."
