Study finds that dietary supplementation with omega-3 fatty acids is unlikely to prevent cancer.
06/02/06 A new study has highlighted that there is insufficient evidence to link omega-3 consumption and reduced risk of cancer.
A large body of literature spanning numerous allies from many countries and with different demographic characteristics does not provide evidence to suggest a significant association between omega-3 fatty acids and cancer incidence.
The study appears in last week's Journal of the American Medical Association.
