Cruciferous vegetables – such as cabbages, kale, collard greens, bok choy, Brussels sprouts and broccoli – proved the most beneficial effects, according to the research, which was published in Journal of the American Heart Association, the Open Access Journal of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
