Caviarlieri’s caviar cellular supplement boasts “age-defying” properties
09 Apr 2020 --- Swiss-based company Caviarlieri has created an “age-defying” caviar supplement after two decades of intensive research. The potent bioactive nutrients of caviar have long been a challenge to encapsulate into a supplement, the company says. The formulation contains rare Sturgeon black caviar, which is rich in essential fatty acids and unique active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). The result is a high-potency supplement, “unparalleled in energy, vitality and beauty,” Caviarlieri highlights.
The company employed a proprietary Swiss cold DNA extraction technology coined Cellularix to manufacture a supplement that boasts potent caviar cellular DNA extracts and effective bioactive marine peptides.
“The caviar cellular extract in Caviarlieri has high concentrations of essential fatty acids EPA and DHA, which are known for cellular repair against damaged cells, prevention of brain degeneration, potent anti-inflammatory properties, mood elevation and more,” a Caviarlieri spokesperson tells NutritionInsight.
Equally important is the proprietary Swiss cold extraction technology, which ensures that the chemical integrity of the active ingredients are not compromised and the micronutrients can be fully absorbed for optimal outcomes, they add.
Caviarlieri is clinically proven to accelerate cellular renewal and repair damaged or dysfunctional immune cells. It states that this can potentially help to strengthen the immune system against viruses and diseases.
“Cell regeneration is activated in Caviarlieri,” says Dr. Brigitte Bollinger, Dermatology Specialist for the Medical Center Bad Ragaz in Switzerland. “It can produce outstanding results in areas like alleviating metabolic syndrome, improving physical stamina, providing faster recuperation after exercise, improving mental focus, enhancing sexual performance, satisfaction and many more.”
The company notes that unlike some other food supplements, Caviarlieri provides essential nutrition directly at the cellular level, thereby enabling optimal absorption into the cells, because of its bioavailability. These caviar proteins and peptides are able to easily enter into the cells, triggering enhanced cell activity and stimulation.
The primary demographic segment that launch is generally targeting is 40 years and above. “However, we have consumers who are as young as 35 and as old as 101 year old. This product is targeted at customers who desire to have quality of life regardless of their chronological age or gender,” the spokesperson continues.
Backed by extensive research, Caviarlieri states that it has scientific studies that are published in peer-reviewed journals. It also has empirical double blind placebo controlled studies on its key ingredients. Further research is still ongoing in the US and Europe on genetic expression in key biomarkers that defy the aging process, according to the company.
Caviarlieri is available in various luxury spas, medical centres and pharmacies throughout Switzerland. The product retails at 500 francs (US$514) per box, and the spokesperson says that this is due to “the relatively high cost of active ingredients.”
Marine ingredients are increasingly spotlighted for their health properties. Recently, Eyal Shalmon, CEO of Yemoja, told NutritionInsight that microalgae is an untapped area, with applications including weight management, fatty liver disease, eye health and UV protection. He also spoke about the start-up’s new platform for cultivating customized, pharmaceutical grade microalgae on demand. By using a unique, high-precision fast-track photobioreactor technology, the company can produce a variety of pure algae at any scale and in a short time.
