BioZate 1 Lowers Blood Pressure and Cholesterol – Study
In addition to blood pressure, cholesterol, and C-reactive protein benefits, BioZate 1 also contributes protein to the diet, which may increase the body’s metabolic rate and nutrient balance. A higher protein diet may also contribute to body fat losses.
30/01/07 For the 65 million Americans looking to help control their blood pressure, BioZate 1, a hydrolyzed whey protein product, may be the answer.
According to a recent University of Minnesota study conducted by Joel J. Pins and Joseph M. Keenan, participants taking BioZate 1 over the course of six weeks experienced reductions in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The researchers also found that low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL cholesterol, or the socalled “bad” cholesterol) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (a marker of general inflammation) were also significantly improved within those participants taking BioZate 1.
BioZate 1 is a hydrolyzed whey protein containing a large number of whey peptides, which are easily digested and absorbed into the blood stream. In addition to blood pressure, cholesterol, and C-reactive protein benefits, BioZate 1 also contributes protein to the diet, which may increase the body’s metabolic rate and nutrient balance. A higher protein diet may also contribute to body fat losses.
“Davisco Foods International is excited about the findings of the recent study,” said Mark Davis, CEO and owner of Davisco Foods International. “This study is an important step toward spreading the news about the benefits of BioZate 1 and whey protein that we have known for a long time.”
The University of Minnesota study appears in the November 2006 issue of the Journal of Clinical Hypertension. 1 Contact Davisco Foods International for a copy of the published study.
