The company’s new Mamma Mia baked goods contain the vitamins and minerals needed every day by women. Night & Day is Backaldrin’s new approach to the nutrition contained in bread. “Clever ideas in bread and baked goods and for cafés” – that’s the promise of other innovations from backaldrin: spelt Wachauer concentrates, Sahnissimo, Ferma Clean Label Special and the new SnackMix.
Mamma Mia is a new brand in baked goods from Backaldrin that “knows what women need every day.” The baked goods contain a large amount of dietary fiber (the share of dietary fibers is more than 6%). They are both practical and healthful, and have been specially enriched with those vitamins and minerals often in short supply in women’s bodies. Some 100g of Mamma Mia (about 1½ pieces) supplies 20% of the daily recommended amount of calcium, magnesium and iron, and 15% of vitamin D and folic acid. This innovative baked good from Backaldrin also has a winning taste: mild and wonderfully juicy. It contains such highly-valuable grains as wheat and rye meal – plus a range of such oilseeds as sunflower seeds, sesame and flax. It is especially the ingredients sprinkled on its surface that are responsible for producing the taste of seeds and nuts experienced by the palate.
The awareness of the importance of proper nutrition in assuring health has made spelt a major ingredient in today’s cuisine. This has caused spelt to be one of Backaldrin’s major focuses. Backaldrin proved at iba 2012 that spelt products have a great juicy taste, are easy to digest, retain their freshness for a long period of time – and are easy to produce. Sahnissimo is available in three flavors: neutral, strawberry and chocolate.
