NutriScience Improves Purity of InnovaTea, Launches Vegetarian L-Tyrosine/L-Leucine Products
24 Mar 2017 --- NutriScience Innovations, a leading global supplier of nutritional ingredients and functional raw materials, has announced it has further improved the purity of its proprietary and trademarked InnovaTea, natural caffeine from tea. It has also launched new vegetable origin L-Tyrosine & L-Leucine.
NutriScience’s trademarked InnovaTea Natural Caffeine was previously marketed as minimum of 95% natural caffeine from tea. However, with the further process improvements, NutriScience can now offer its customers the same great natural caffeine from tea, but with a minimum of 98% caffeine specification.
This improved purity is being offered to customers without any increases in price.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer this improved natural caffeine option, and believe it will give our customers a great, value-adding ingredient that they can use to further improve their formulations,” said Ryan Pallathra, NutriScience’s Director of Business Development.
NutriScience’s InnovaTea Natural Caffeine from Tea is currently being used by leading global manufacturers in the food and beverage industry and major dietary labels.
Vegetable L-Tyrosine and L-Leucine
In addition to this news, NutriScience is also set to launch two new grades of our L-Tyrosine and L-Leucine (vegetable origin), which are produced via a proprietary hydrolysis process from non-GMO corn protein, rather than fermentation.
By using a unique hydrolysis process, and without the need for an enzyme, NutriScience provides customers with a non-GMO, vegetable source of these important and highly utilized amino acids.
Much of the global supply of L-Tyrosine and L-Leucine is produced from human hair or avian feathers, meaning that by producing a vegetarian/vegan option, NutriScience are able to hone in on an interesting corner of the market.
“Our new grades of L-Tyrosine and L-Leucine provide high quality, vegetarian/vegan friendly options for the human nutrition, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries,” says Pallathra.
Applications for NutriScience’s new vegetable origin L-Tyrosine and L-Leucine include sports and performance products, functional foods and beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
