3i nature Launches itabs an Innovative New Dosage Form

It was developed through a collaborative project, initiated by the Nutravita cluster that harnessed the joint knowledge and skills of 3i nature and Naturex. itabs is a film coating for plant-based tablets that uses colours of plant origin and natural ingredients to offer a ground-breaking solution for nutraceutical, dietary and pharmaceutical oral delivery products.
3i nature has drawn on combined expertise to produce a unique dosage form: tablets made of plant concentrates with a film coating containing plant colours and natural filming agents.
Naturex, a manufacturer of specialty natural ingredients, contributed its wealth of experience in natural colours to provide a choice of 5 colours (yellow, brown, blue, green and red), stable and technologically advanced. This was achieved as a result of the essential selection and testing process that Naturex carried out with 3i nature in order to determine the most suitable colours.
