YourHealth Co-Brands With MEG-3
In 2005, YourHealth Group launched enteric coated Omega-3 fish oil, which is directed specifically at cardiovascular health. It is the first supplement co-branding deal in Australia.
15/03/06 Ocean Nutrition Canada Limited (ONC), supplier of MEG-3 brand Omega-3 EPA/DHA food and dietary supplement ingredients has announced that YourHealth Group in Australia has signed a trademark license agreement enabling them to include the MEG-3 brand on their complementary medicines.
In 2005, YourHealth Group launched enteric coated Omega-3 fish oil, which is directed specifically at cardiovascular health. The product comes in two sizes, 60 and 120 capsules. The product uses the MEG-3 Omega-3 concentrate oil to deliver the highest quality fish oil in an extra strength delivery system. The product has a special enteric coating that allows the one-gram capsule to move through the stomach intact, to be better metabolized in the small intestine. It has better bioavailability and no fishy aftertaste.
The MEG-3 brand was designed to show consumers the product they are purchasing contains the trusted source of fish oil ingredients. Not only does the MEG-3 logo show that the product contains the highest quality fish oil ingredient, it also tells consumers that it has EPA and DHA, the important heart healthy forms of Omega-3.
