New Gac Fruit Juice Product Hits Market
20 Sep 2016 --- NAFOODS Group is launching GAC DAY, a new, all natural red fruit juice using Vietnamese Gac fruit, a lycopene and beta cartotene rich native super fruit. The product uses red grape as base ingredient and GAC PUREE as a key innovative ingredient concocted with two red super fruits, strawberry and blackcurrant.
GAC DAY is part of a range of functional juices developed by NAFOODS GROUP. Founded in 1995, NAFOODS is a well recognized manufacturer and supplier of fruit ingredients for the food and beverage processing industry, and is the largest exporter of Passionfruit juice concentrate in Asia and the number one Gac puree producer in the world.
Gac fruit, the newly discovered superfruit, is native from Vietnam, and boasts a lycopene concentration of seventy times higher than that found in tomato, and a beta cartotene concentration ten times higher than in carrot.
As a rich source of powerful antioxidants, such as vitamin C, lycopene and beta-carotene and folic acid, NAFOODS claim the juice can help protect the cardiovascular system, contribute to cellular rejuvenation, and strengthen the immune system, and hope that the juice’s rich composition will cater to different needs of global health conscience consumers.
To support the product launch, Na Foods will actively promote the product at international trade shows such as SIAL Paris, Food Expo Vietnam, ASEAN food and beverage fair in Seoul. The juice is also one of the contenders in the SIAL Paris Product Innovation Awards this year.
