Axiom Foods Highlights Brown Rice Protein as Allergen-Friendly Plant Protein

Oryzatein brown rice protein, reported by CNBC-TV as "the new meat," is used in thousands of mainstream food products in the United States from protein powder formulas to skincare lines, ice creams and nutrition bars.
The ingredient is the only clinically-shown rice protein to equal animal-based whey protein in building and maintaining muscle. Oryzatein earned the first GRAS-self affirmation for a rice protein and was awarded the coveted "Clean Tech Award" for its contributions to global innovation, sustainability and economic impact. Nordic Food Partners is showcasing this allergen-friendly plant protein to fulfill a growing interest amongst European food makers to find alternatives to phyto-estrogen-laden soy and dairy-based whey proteins.
